Bright Sparks Lighting Ltd are based in Brixworth. Their trading name is Kwiklite and they are a nationwide supplier of innovative, energy efficient and eco-friendly lighting solutions. They are now looking for an Electrical Apprentice to join the team and work in mainly commercial settings, with some domestic work all over the country. You will doing mainly commercial work, working on lighting often at heights, so you will be trained and obtain a licence to use a scissor lift and a cherry picker. You will be learning all about the use of steel wire armoured cables, and fuse boards, contactors and isolators. Part of your role will also be to understand the different chargers required for electric vehicles. There will be some domestic electrical work as well in this role. You will be working alongside a qualified electrician sometimes starting work very early and sometimes travelling all over the country, with occasional over night stays, in which your expenses will be paid.
