Remit are recruiting on behalf of WHSmith in Swindon, for a warehouse apprentice. Here is what your role will entail. Key Duties:  Receive and rework any product if and when required  Build cartons on pallets as and when required  Use the Distribution Management system via Gui screen or RF terminal  Pick & pack stock requested by stores/customers using voice picking headsets or RF terminal  Prepare & feed stock to our sorter  Scan & pack products on the sorter system  Sort deliveries to the correct pallets for store deliveries  Operate basic equipment such as pallet stackers and powered pallet trucks in designated area  Work resourcefully to achieve recognised efficiency targets within assigned section  Work effectively to ensure recognised quality targets are met within assigned section  Minimise risk of accidents within assigned section by being aware of risks and following procedures designed to ensure safety of self and others  Suggest improvement opportunities for designated area  Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained
