Remit are delighted to recruiting on behalf of Oscar Mayer for a Food & prep operative in their Erith DA18 4AR branch. Your duties and responsibilities will be: To prepare and cook specific items within recipes manufactured within the business, this could use a variety of machines of which after training you would need to ensure are kept to a high level within the food hygiene regulations. This work requires physical endurance due to lifting occasional heavy items 30kg and regular lifting of items 20kg. This role has long periods of standing. • Measure ingredients and prepare them in accordance to specifications • Informs supervisors when ingredients stock is getting low • Cleans and sanitises the working surfaces, tools, utensils and working area • Acceptable knowledge of safety and health principles • Ability to utilise diverse machines and possession of practical aptitude • Sound communication aptitude in delivering beneficial teamwork
