Vacancy Description:

We are seeking to employ and train 2 apprentices. You will receive broad-based training covering many aspects of Aerospace Manufacture, specialising as a craft apprentice. Following your apprenticeship, your first appointment will be as a Skilled Fitter. When onsite apprentices work alongside trained staff to enhance their skills, putting into practise what they have learnt at the MAKE UK. You will receive an overall insight to the company’s capabilities by rotating through many departments and focusing on your overall fitting and testing competence while working on Aluminium, Inconel, Titanium and Stainless Steel aerospace products. Other insights will be: Joining Techniques, Testing, Vacuum Brazing, Heat Treatment and Chemical Processing capability. Working with components produced from a variety of different materials Apprentices will be required to comply with all ethical, environmental and safety regulations.
