Vacancy Description:

Core duties include - Animal health, animal safety and security, food and forage, water and shelter. These five things are essential to all our animals within our daily care. You will be responsible for the animals needs from ensuring the correct feed is supplied to mucking out housing to a high health standard. Stocking up on feed, unloading hay and straw, bedding up livestock, general farm work and maintenance. Key responsibilities include but are not limited too Feeding Watering Mucking out and bedding up Moving/ herding livestock Animal handling Animal treatments Unloading feed, straw, hay etc Driving machinery (small tractor, gator, telescopic handler) Assisting with birthing sheep, goats, pigs and cows Record keeping by hand and electronically General Farm work Farm maintenance
